STUDIO TIME
August 8th, 2020
Well... pre-Covid lockdown, Rebels managed to get two days of studio time in at Litho in Seattle.
We recorded 3 new songs with a new team of players and a new producer.
Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) on production helped us refine the arrangements as well as produced the sessions and is mixing the songs.
Reegan Hagar (Brad, Malfunkshun) rocked the drums and added some fresh and driving beats. Ryan Leyva - Nails, (The Chasers) on bass held down the low end and later added some backing vocals.
And of course - Rob Knopp always on keys.
The sessions were great. We cut the tracks live. Later, post lockdown, and after we hit Phase 2, Dominic came over to the Cave studios to finish vocals.
